The origins of the Dolomita brand

The Dolomita project was born out of a love for the area where I was born and an awareness of the enormous potential of the Dolomites.

Since becoming a Unesco World Heritage Site, the Dolomites have gained a growing notoriety on a global level. In addition to offering breathtaking scenery, this territory holds millenary gastronomic traditions that deserve to be told and appreciated.

Dolomita was created as a brand to provide both consumers and companies with correct information on raw materials, production processes and the territory.

This is why we believe that communication is a fundamental element through which we can tell the story of what the producers and the territory have to offer.

In the Dolomites we have an enormous competitive advantage: an unspoilt territory and high quality food and wine products.
Dolomita is in fact a partner capable of selecting the most reliable suppliers and understanding the needs of the end consumers.

The experience gained both abroad and in Italy also allows us to guide companies in the Dolomite area that want to reach the top of foreign markets through an ad hoc studied strategy.

Our territory, which is predominantly mountainous, cannot compete with other, more productive areas. But don't panic, Dolomita is a reference platform for foreign buyers and a place of promotion and acceleration for brands of excellence that share our vision.

Who is behind Dolomita?

My name is Davide Pedrolli, from Trentino, and I work to promote, communicate and sell Dolomite food products on foreign markets.

After a degree in Law with a focus on food law and work experience in Parma and a work experience in Stockholm, I decided to found Dolomita.

Dolomita's philosophy is based on an empathetic relationship between suppliers and buyers.

My role as Export Manager combined with that of journalist and publicist allows me to make the most of customers' products and services and get them where they have never gone before.

Italy is renowned for its extraordinary culinary tradition, appreciated and replicated all over the world. Too often I have come across fake Italian restaurants, where the only thing Italian was the flag outside the restaurant.

I am an active player in protecting, promoting and defending Italy's food and wine heritage, with particular reference to the products of my land.

All this allows me to introduce friends and international buyers to the products that are the offspring of Trentino Alto Adige and the Dolomites and at the same time actively contribute to the promotion of the area.

Based in Mexico City, he deals with import-export activities between Italy and Central South America. His challenge? To bring the best tequila to Italy and export the best of Italian Food & Beverage to the Americas.
